Changes...

Gosh...when was my last entry? March? So much has happened since I last blogged here.



Well, to start with, we had a lovely holiday in Penang...we stayed in the newly refurbished-now-ultra-expensive 5 star resort, the Rasa Sayang Resort, and was even upgraded to the suite by a generous ex-colleague. We had a whale of a time - me, Lissa, Leilani, Sharel, his fiance, Izza and my favourite Auntie Mak Atie...we stayed there for 2 nights..just purely REST and RELAX....with Mak Atie along, it was even better, as in a way, sort of like a 'give back' to her for all she has done for me since I was a baby till I grew up into a cool, handsome, young man..(sense any exaggeration there? hehehe..) But yes, apart from my beloved parents, she is almost like a mother to me........so I was really glad that she enjoyed the holiday...


Before that, we spent a night at my bro's cool pad in Gurun...he's been there almost 2 years and I just HAVE to check it out before he gets married....nanti kalau dia dah kawin tak best laa...segan la pulak nak buat cam rumah sendiri..... it's kind of surreal to see my young brother living in his own house(!), although, rented, but still his OWN house! I've been married for almost 4 years, and yet, I'm still living with the in-laws! But I am proud of him...living all alone in a foreign (?) state...and surviving.

After the relaxing holiday, which marks the end of a month long break from work...I have now started at a new place, holding a new position...as a Duty Manager, something that I have not yet dreamt of pursuing, being my actual aim or should-be-next-change-position as a Chef Concierge. But, Alhamdulillah...rezeki Allah, I have sort of jumped one-step to a much bigger (?) role as a Hotel Duty Manager in Westin Kuala Lumpur. 07/05/07 - the date that marked a change in me professionally.... hopefully, God willing, this would be a stepping stone for me to grow in the industry....now to grasp and shine as much as I could...
