"papa"
Last night Leilani did not sleep well...she keeps waking up in the middle of the night, crying and wanting milk. And after feeding, she would not, or rather refused to go back to sleep. Although I sleep like a log, last night, I was awakened by her crying at around 4am. Poor Lissa. She was trying very hard to rock Leilani back to sleep, but she seemed too fresh to go back to sleep. So, I offered to try...
I let her lie down by my side and she was as fresh as ever...even giggling about. "OK, this will be a long night!" I thought. Suddenly out of the blue, at exactly 4.19 am ( I checked the clock!), Leilani clearly blurted out the word "PA-PA" while looking at me! My God! We were both in shock! And I, of course, was delighted! Yes, she has been babbling a lot recently, mainly bababas and stuff, but this time it was clearly a two syllable word "papa"...I take it as she was calling for me....and poor mummy was jealous...heheheh
