A beginning of a new phase..

Life's been good so far. Alhamdulillah. Yes, my life lately has been revolving around the family, especially my dear daughter, Leilani. She seems to be more 'manja' with me now...everytime she sees me, she'll smile and crawl towards me. I guess my plan to spend as much time with her out of my LONG working hours is paying off as she is starting to 'cling' on to me more these days...Alhamdulillah...plus, she has started to address me as 'Da-Da' now, though occasionally she still blurts out "mama" when she is refering to me.

We took her to the Birdpark recently which we all enjoyed. It was my first time, and in a way, I was kind of impressed with the whole area, although it was still quite 'Malaysian' in standards...

Workwise, I'm currently in a transition phase, whereby I have just tendered my resignation at my current workplace, and shall be joining another hotel with a new position and a new set of environment. I have not always been good with changes, but after reassuring myself, plus with positive encouragements from my darling wife, mum, dad, bro and even some friends at work, I decided to take the challenge. The new job of course will present more challenges and requires more responsibilities, but this is an opportunity that I believe will be good for me, both personally and professionally. The best thing was to see the expression on my boss's face when I handed in the resignation letter. Serves him right! But that's a different story altogether.

Oh, this coming end of April, we'll be going on a holiday up north, first, to visit and stay over at my bro's place in Gurun Kedah, and later spend 2 nights in Penang. (Gosh! Gotta remind myself to book a hotel there quick, as the quotation received from my current sister hotel, Rasa Sayang, may not be valid due to my recent resignation!) Really can't wait for that trip....It's gonna be great cos after that, I'll be starting at my new hotel! So its gonna be a fresh start. A new phase in the working life of Sharezal.
